Our Story: The Coastbound Journey

We're a husband-and-wife team based in Venice, Florida with a shared appreciation for great coffee, coastal living, and the simple moments that help us slow down and enjoy the day.

The idea for Coastbound started with a simple question:

How do we create a coffee brand that captures the feeling of taking a breath, hitting reset, and enjoying the journey?

Our motto, "Where ya headed? I'm Coastbound.™", reflects that mindset. It's a reminder that sometimes the destination matters less than the experience along the way.

When we launched Coastbound Coffee Co.™, we chose a different approach. Instead of overwhelming customers with hundreds of options, we focused on curating a small collection of coffees we were genuinely excited to share.

Our journey began with Colombian Sunrise Roast, inspired by my wife's roots in one of the world's most celebrated coffee-growing regions. It became one of the first coffees selected for what would eventually become The First Wave - our debut collection of eight carefully chosen coffees.

Each coffee in The First Wave was researched, sampled, and selected for its unique character, flavor profile, and place within the Coastbound Coffee Co initial lineup.

To bring these coffees to life, we partner with experienced specialty coffee roasters who share our commitment to freshness, consistency, and quality. Every order is roasted on demand and shipped fresh.
